Meet the Artist

I started doodling around the age of 9, or maybe it was 10. Back then, the line between a simple sketch and something more was soft and unclear, like a quiet morning seen through a foggy window. But those early drawings carried a quiet curiosity that never really left me.

With a foundation in fine art, I later shifted to digital portraiture, trading brushes and canvas for screen and stylus. It wasn’t just a change in tools, but a new way to explore the same sense of connection and detail. For over 15 years, I’ve worked as an artist, illustrator, and art director, shaping portraits that reflect care, observation, and a steady hand.

My studio may be just a simple laptop desk, but it shifts like a chameleon, always changing, always alive. Unlike the vast, echoing artist lofts that gather dust and silence, my space is small, bright, and deeply connected to the world outside.

Some days, the window frames trees dancing in the wind, as if nature itself is putting on a show. Other days, the view opens to snow-capped mountains standing tall and still, my greatest muse, quietly outshining even the charm of a beachside shack.

Digital painting gives me the quiet joy of changing my view as easily as switching a brush, each backdrop a new beginning.

A key part of my journey was the long search for a mentor, a path filled with trial, error, and a few funny detours. Figuring things out on my own taught me how much a bit of guidance can matter, and now I share what I’ve learned to help others find their way.

Though quiet by nature, I speak freely through my art. Whether it’s a thoughtful portrait, a dreamy illustration, or bold abstract work, my creativity flows with ease once the pen touches the screen.

For me, art isn’t about perfection, it’s about exploring, enjoying the process, and staying open to surprise.
